In September 2022 one of our team members had the opportunity to travel to Colombia to help judge and select the top 15 coffees in Colombia through Colombia’s Best Cup competition. After the competition these coffees are sold through an auction. Silver Bridge Coffee purchased nine bags of coffee from Navio Orozco Muñoz’s. We were excited to win the bid on his coffee.
Mr. Munoz is a small farmer from the department of Cauca, farming only 18 acres, at 6600 feet in elevation. His hard work and dedication and getting recognized in this regional competition out of about 2000 entries was an honor for him. We are proud to have the opportunity to roast and share this coffee with you. We hope you find it one of the “Best Cups” you’ve ever tasted from Colombia.
