Maturing in Kenya’s rich volcanic soil, these beans have a sharp, winey flavor with a distinct fruitiness that’s sure to excite the taste buds of even the most jaded coffee aficionado. The beans are roasted a bit darker than you may be used to but we like to bring out the subtle flavor notes the normal Light roast will not. Try it, and find out why these beans are at the top of the class. We dark roast our Kenya AA so that much of the acidity is gone. You get a smoky, dark, bold cup of coffee.

I don’t usually go for dark roasts with my brewing method, but am a huge fan of Kenyan coffee, so I gave this a try. Very pleased with the results. Dark and smokey, but not too much so, it still maintains an even finish without the punch of a Sumatra for example. Excellent quality bean, very pleased with this and would order again.
