Café Femenino coffee is sourced from women-owned coffee farms in Peru; we require the woman’s name on the deed to the farm. As a women-owned artisan small-batch coffee roaster in a rural state like Ohio, we have our own challenges, and part of our mission as a business is to lift up other women-owned coffee businesses as well, especially in regions of the world where women have to overcome many more challenges than we do.
Coffee farms in previously-colonized places like Peru are a prime opportunity for women to get a leg up in owning and running businesses for themselves. These farms create greater opportunities for the women to better their lives and that of their families. It’s not just a great program, though; our Café Femenino coffee is delicious coffee with a natural sweetness and light body. A great choice if you prefer lighter coffee. You can drink great coffee and pay it forward at the same time.

I use a French Press for my brew, so a light roast is one of my favorites to try. I’ve been buying SilverBridge from my local Kroger’s for years, but have never seen this one before. Finding this website has been great since I’m able to try all the blends and roasts that aren’t offered at the supermarket. This has been a standout so far. Chocolatey notes with a light finish, great depth of flavor, and perfectly suited for the longer brew times of the FP.
