Silver Bridge Coffee is committed to giving back to the countries that produce the coffee that we all enjoy. We strongly believe in the specialty coffee industry that fair trade, ecological impact and sustainability are issues that we all must support. There are so many deep issues to discuss as we seek to enjoy this wonderful beverage and still give back to the people and countries that produce it. Silver Bridge Coffee wants to impact our world locally and globally with a Christian World View.

Where we buy our coffee

We import our coffee through small importers. These companies are very involved in relationship coffees and sustainability. This means that they seek to have a direct impact on the communities and lives of the farmers from which they buy coffee. You can visit their websites and see that they are leaders in the coffee industry in giving back to the countries from which they import. We have met and are comfortable with these people. We do offer fair trade or organic coffee, and we will note that in the item description. We are certified FAIR TRADE through transfair USA and you can find us on their website.  We are huge fans of the PEARL project in Rwanda (which has been renamed SPREAD). This project has helped the widows and survivors of the Rwandan genocide rebuild the coffee farms and their lives through Specialty Coffee.

Cafe Femenino

We are happy to support the Cafe Femenino project. Cafe Femenino Coffees are produced on women owned coffee farms. This social program began in Peru and now includes many different countries. We have chosen to give 5% of the profits to local women's shelters. We support My Sister's Place in Athens and Choices in the Columbus area.  Silver Bridge Coffee is happy to be a part of this wonderful program. It truly is great coffee doing great things.
